Tuesday Topics

Tuesday Topics discussions are a monthly occurrence (the first Tuesday of every month at 8 PM/CST) on our Facebook page- so parents can have a place to chat and “hang” and ask questions, without needing to hire a babysitter or getting dressed up. Each month we focus on a different aspect of raising deaf/hh children. Our GBYS Guides, board members and others in the community join in to help answer questions and offer resources. If you have requests for future topics, please send them to us here, at office@txhv.org or IM us!

Webinar on Back to School Basics and Safety with Guest Presenters Eli Gaffney, Sarah Milem and Jennifer Johnson This presentation is a “Basics Bootcamp” on starting your Deaf/HH child’s year off on the right foot! We share resources, tips and tools for effectively partnering with your school and adding safety measures to your child’s IFSP/IEP.
